About
I am a Security analyst dedicating to continuous improvement of people, processes, and technology. I have a passion for, and deep understanding of what it means to align these elements to support a business’s strategic cybersecurity needs. My background in the IT Managed Services Provider industry has afforded me a wealth of opportunities to work with a diverse range of teams and customers across many different industries, using an equally diverse range of tools and processes to achieve security goals. Investing in my education has been an invaluable step towards accomplishing my career objectives. I am thrilled to contribute my passion, experiences, and technical abilities to the growth and success of my team members and friends.
I began my cybersecurity career in 2017. I found “Ikigai”.

Ikigai (ee-key-guy) is a Japanese concept that combines the terms iki, meaning “alive” or “life,” and gai, meaning “benefit” or “worth.”
When combined, these terms mean that which gives your life worth, meaning, or purpose. From: https://positivepsychology.com/ikigai/
When I was young I was always curiously exploring, breaking, repairing, and building computer systems. I found joy in programming classes in highschool, had my fun with code and luascript playing garrysmod, and got into mischief bypassing hardware security, parental controls, and the low hanging fruit of the era: gradeschool network security. With a healthy dose of suspicion I enjoyed looking under the hood of software in the early 2000’s. I took my interests and technical aptitude into the workforce, enrolling in a well respected local college and beginning as a helpdesk technician. I’ve since spent time as an IT Consultant, Systems Administrator, and most recently as a Security Analyst.
I’ve built this site as a way to share my story and publish what I know for others to see. I hope this site reveals an appropriate glimpse into my own journey, and provides others with technical knowledge or career wisdom they can apply in their own lives.
